A professional teacher is someone who is not just a teacher but also goes beyond the most complex meaning of the word “teacher”. According to an author, when you carry out acts of kindness, you get a wonderful feeling inside. It is as though something inside your body responds and says – “yes, this is how I ought to feel.”

In teaching you need to be a risk taker in the sense that you need to find and explore new things and not to be afraid to try something new for it might be more effective than the past ones as well as it may expose students to different ideas or opportunities. Like using unique and innovative instructional materials because taking the risk may be worth it for the students to learn better. As an educator, you need to possess the different qualities that a professional teacher must have. You need to have patience, courage, compassion, persistence in your profession and give love to those young minds that you are teaching. You need to make it other way around if your student has special needs. Teaching is about helping students to acquire knowledge, competencies and values as well as to provide unique service to meet the educational needs of every individual and the society. Passion and love in teaching and in everything that a teacher do, abundant knowledge to share with students, good communicator, positive mental attitude, patience, understanding, and respect to everyone helps a teacher maintain your good interaction to other people, mainly during teaching and keeping these things in mind supports you in becoming an effective educator, and you become the teacher that every child needed, then you could be able to make difference in that child’s life and we may not know that you’ll be the reason of his success in the future.

Teaching is not easy. It is not only about standing in front of every class and discuss the lesson for the day. Teaching is a calling and it is about dealing with diverse students and facing each day with a challenge that you need to cope – sharing what you have inside your heart and that is teaching students on how to be lovers of learning themselves. That one day, they could also be the professional that they wish to be and be grateful that a teacher, a professional teacher once became part of his success.
